Tauchen mit der Galapagos-Tauchkreuzfahrt Humboldt Explorer
Täglich finden bis zu 4 Tauchgänge statt, die wie folgt über den Tag verteilt sind:
- Tauchgang: Der erste Tauchgang startet um 06:30 Uhr nach einem leichten Frühstück.
- Tauchgang: Um 10:30 Uhr folgt der zweite Tauchgang.
- Tauchgang: Nach einer Pause und dem Mittagessen geht es um 14:00 Uhr zum dritten Tauchgang.
- Tauchgang: Der letzte Tauchgang des Tages findet gegen 16:30 Uhr statt. Das Abendessen folgt um 19:00 Uhr.
Nach den Einweisungen bereitet sich jeder Taucher vor und fährt mit Beibooten zum Tauchplatz. Aufgrund starker Strömungen und manchmal schlechter Sicht, abhängig vom Wetter, ist es ratsam, über ausreichend Taucherfahrung zu verfügen. Mindestens 50 Tauchgänge sind vorgeschrieben. Wer weniger hat, kann einen privaten Tauchführer gegen Aufpreis engagieren. Wenn das Team der Meinung ist, dass die Fähigkeiten für einen bestimmten Tauchplatz nicht ausreichen, kann es den Tauchern untersagen, dort zu tauchen. Insgesamt werden bis zu 18 Tauchgänge durchgeführt. An Tagen, an denen ein Landgang geplant ist, werden die Tauchgänge 3 und 4 durch diesen ersetzt.
Alle Tauchtouren sind unverbindlich und können sich jederzeit aufgrund von Wetterbedingungen und den Vorschriften des Nationalparks ändern. Darüber hinaus sind an manchen Tagen nicht alle 4 Tauchgänge möglich, da eine lange Überfahrt zur nächsten Insel ansteht.

Top Erlebnis
Es war eine Super-Reise nach Galapagos. Tolle Ausflüge, welche ausnahmslos alle gut organisiert waren. Sehr nette und professionelle Organisation sowie Reiseführer. Einfach super toll. Danke.
Traumreise
Liebe Frau Rodinger, wir möchten uns für die hervorragende Organisation dieser Galapagos-Reise bedanken. Wir sind normalerweise individuell unterwegs und waren mehr als verblüfft, dass wirklich bei jedem Ankommen auf den einzelnen Inseln immer eine Reiseleitung mit Rat und Tat pünktlich vor Ort war.
Bei unserer Ankunft am Flughafen in Quito wurden wir ebenso freundlich empfangen wie danach bei Wolfgang und Annemarie in der Wantara Garden Suites. Die Inhaber gaben uns gute Tipps und standen per Whats app für Fragen zur Verfügung, falls man das gewollt hätte.
Die Fahrt in den Bergnebelwald als auch der Stopp beim Zurückfahren am Mitad del Mundo hat ebenfalls perfekt geklappt.
Unser Flug auf die Galapagos Inseln war pünktlich und die junge, deutschsprachige Reiseleiterin hat uns bis zum Einchecken begleitet ;-)
San Cristobal: Hostal Suiza, zweckmäßig und sauber, freundliche Besitzer
Ausflug Leon Dormido: Sehr freundliche Crew, engagierter Guide (hat sich selber sehr über die Sichtung eines Galapagoshais gefreut) Leider war es regnerisch und die Sicht aufgrund der fehlenden Sonne schlecht.
Am nächsten Tag hatten wir den Ausflug auf die Insel Espanola gebucht. Auch hier wieder ein engagierter, menschen-und tierlieber Guide. Hat sich wegen der Albatrosse, den Iguanas und der Seelöwen, mit denen wir am Ende noch Schnorcheln waren, auf jeden Fall gelohnt.
Insel Isabela: auf jeden Fall erwähnenswert unsere Reiseleiterin Rebekka. Selten so eine freundliche, besorgte (hatten Ohrprobleme) und kümmernde Reiseleiterin gehabt! Großes Lob!
Unsere Unterkunft La Jungla bewohnten wir alleine, super Blick Richtung Meer und sehr bemühter -anscheinend neuer- Besitzer. Er versorgte uns täglich mit frischen Hand- und Badetüchern, Bananen oder Keksen.
Bester Ausflug der Insel: Los tuneles – sahen viele Blaufußtölpel und beim Schnorchelgang jede Menge Weißspitzenriffhaie und dank Guide Carlos auch Seepferdchen. Der Ausflug am nächsten Tag Las Tintoreras war weniger spektakulär, allerdings sahen wir dort beim Schnorcheln auch viele Schildkröten, Pinguine und Stachelrochen.
Insel Santa Cruz: sehr schöne Unterkunft im Gästehaus Jean´s Home (beste Betten der Reise), Besitzerin Gundi war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und hat eigentlich die Reiseleitung ersetzt ;-)
Ausflug Buchten Puerto Ayora: mehr eine Hafenrundfahrt, hektische Schnorchel- und dann wieder Landgänge im Wechsel- kam uns etwas chaotisch vor, hätten wir am ehesten darauf verzichten können.
Ausflug Bartolome mit Sullivan Bay: Startete eine Stunde später, weil die Tour überbucht war. Waren das letzte Schiff, das auslief – im Nachhinein unser Glück, da wir ohne andere Gruppen auf Bartolome waren und danach ohne andere Gruppen mit vielen! Pinguinen beim Schnorcheln. Sullivan Bay wurde allerdings aus Zeitgründen ausgelassen, konnten wir aber verschmerzen.
Ausflug Mosqueras & Seymour: Sehr schön für Vogelliebhaber, Blaufußtölpel und Fregattvögel in jedem Stadium vom Balzen über´s Ei bis zu den Jungvögeln. Sehr empfehlenswert!
Insgesamt ein wunderbarer Urlaub, bei dem bis auf eine Einschränkung wirklich alles geklappt hat. Werden Galapagos pro auf jeden Fall empfehlen.
