Private Foreign Health Insurance
Besides having travel insurance, you should also have overseas health insurance. Please check with your local insurance provider for more information. From 1st April 2017 onwards, all visitors travelling to Ecuador must have proof of their health insurance.
Secured Payment Certificate
Choosing the right tour provider is equally important. Good tour operators will provide you with a secured payment certificate which ensures that all your bookings are protected in the case of the operator’s insolvency. Many travel agents out there do not provide this, and you may risk losing all the money you paid for the trip.
