Did you know that Chimborazo is said to be even higher than Mount Everest? That makes Chimborazo the world’s highest summit! Even the famous German explorer Alexander von Humboldt failed to conquer it. Chimborazo is a challenge highly recommended for advanced and experienced climbers.

Volcano Cayambe is the third tallest peak in Ecuador covered with snow and glacier. As it is located on the highest point on the equator, erratic weather conditions are often expected. If you are lucky, you may even spot the massive Andean Condor during your climb.

Cotopaxi is the highest active volcano in the world standing at 5897 m. After being dormant for 200 years, it finally erupted in August 2015. After the eruption, from November 2017 onwards, the volcano is now safe for climbers again. Cotopaxi’s recent activity heightens the feeling of adventure for all its visitors and potential conquerors.
