Reiseberichte
Carefree package in the dream destination
Already while booking, paying, and sending the travel documents, things ran smoothly without complications and all tailored to my wishes. The journey itself was very uncomplicated and stress-free. One important factor for us was that a tour guide was always available both via Whatsapp, as well as in person.
The entire trip was designed according to my wishes and so the activities are obviously things that I thought would suit me. So here are my recommendations:
Ecuador:
Teleferico
Cotopaxitour (if you are athletic you should use the time for the crater ascent)
For those interested in cities, the FreeGuide tour in the old town is ideal.
Unfortunately, I have not seen the Amazon and Mitad del Mundo, both of which are usually recommended.
I did not like the thermal springs Papallacta so I mostly read my book.
San Cristóbal – definitely book the snorkeling / diving tour at Leon Dormido – a great experience with many sightings in the water (hammerhead sharks, white tip reef sharks, rays, turtles, sea lions)
Also the interpretation center and the walk in the park next door are recommended. With snorkeling gear you can also snorkel in several places here. The hiking path to the viewpoint I recommend only if you want some time to yourself, otherwise in my opinion it wasn’t worth it.
Isabela
Sierra Negra Tour – impressive
Definitely take the Los Tuneles tour – snorkeling with sharks and turtles amongst great rock formations. Here I had a guide who explained everything, but was very arrogant and disagreeable – I had to tune out here.
Las Tintoreras – you can do it, but you do not have to. I had a nice guide, and snorkeling experience.
Likewise, one can view the wall of tears and turtle station by bicycle. If you have little time, you should do this on Santa Cruz – they are both available there.
If you do not have anything in the afternoon, you should visit Concha Perla – you might think the benches are for people, but the sea lions insist on their privilege. You should respect them, otherwise you could be bitten.
Santa Cruz was practically personally designed for me as a tourist. The turtle station was great, a trip to Bartolomé was the highlight and just as nice the trip to Plaza Sur where I was lucky enough to be on the Queen Karen with the guide David, who has managed everything very well. He knew how to correct people who did not want to follow the rules of nature and the Galapagos (stay on paths, do not touch animals, etc.) and in the next moment take fantastic pictures of you. Every question had an in depth, clear answer.
Tortuga Bay can be done (really beautiful beach), but unfortunately is a 50 min trip each way. Las Grietas could be skipped in my eyes. If there is one more day left, you can visit the highlands of Santa Cruz.
Except for the two three things that did not appeal to me, I am very happy to have made this trip. Clearly you pay more through an agency than you would if you put everything together yourself – but therefore I enjoyed a stress-free holiday, and, after discussions with other tourists in the islands, I got impression that most other tourists had a lot more stress to book / organize everything.
Thanks a lot to the whole Galapagos PRO Team, for arranging the itinerary, stress-free booking and on-site support, as well as to the guides and organizers on site.

Besuchen Sie uns! Das wird wunderbar.
